Multimedia Document Structure for Dialog Communication Service

摘要

Using the broadband ISDN(B-ISDN)makes it possible to communicate with visual media and gestures,and to exchange multimedia documents,including audio and video information,voice and data,without restricting network communication speed.This paper proposes a new communicationterminal service using the B-ISDN. A total integration model is given,in which several real time communication media such as voice and visual images are integrated with multimedia documents.The Hierarchical Network Structure for multimedia documents is proposed for integration in this new dialog communication service.
