摘要

TDMA digital transmission is attractive for use in portable radio system.The system using this scheme requires wide bandwidth for digital transmission.In multipath media,when delay spread is a significant fraction of the symbol period,the performance of wideband digital transmission system is severely degraded by having an irreducible symbol error probability caused by inter-symbol interference.This paper shows that the degradation can be reduced by employing diversity selection using coding.
