Development of a computer database to enhance educational and employment access for individuals with disabilities

In order to assist individuals with disabilities in education/employment settings, it may be necessary to provide special devices - either commercially available or custom made - so that the person will be able to conduct his/her work properly. In order to obtain these devices, an information retrieval system has been developed that presents the user with various solutions to common problems in communication, mobility, manipulation, and sensory areas.
