摘要

This paper deals with the loss calculation of a slotted and slotless stator core high spc ed PM machine for a micro turbine driving with PWM inverter. This machine operates as the m otoring mode with the maximum speed, 200krpm and the maximum power, 400W. And, when t his machine operates as the generating mode driving by the micro turbine, the maximum speed i s 400krpm and output power is 800W. The electromagnetic performances were studied and co mpare with the slotted and slotlcss Permanent Magnet Machine. And the core loss, the copper I oss and the eddy current loss is calculated by analytical method and 2D FEM and estimated.
