摘要

This paper presents a comparative analysis of the behavior of coaxial and frontalrncouplings – with permanent magnets – in high temperature environments specific to iron andrnsteel industry. The comparative analysis is made at the level of the specific forces developedrnin the most difficult environments (environmental temperature T0 = 40℃ respectivelyrnmaximum temperatures on the limit of the domain, Tmax = 100℃). The maximumrntemperature was limited for reasons of thermal stability of the Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets.rnIn this context it was studied, by the help of the PDE-ase soft that uses the finiternelement method, the way magnetic induction modifies, the specific forces developed and therndistribution of temperature within the coaxial and frontal couplers with permanent magnets,rnfor variations of the distance between the magnets (air-gap) within the limits (2 ÷ 20) mm.rnAs frame of reference it was chosen an environment that maintains constantrntemperature (the environmental temperature) that does not modify the characteristics of thernpermanent magnets in time and with the temperature. For the coaxial couplings – thatrnrepresent the main topic of this paper – (the frontal couplings being studied in other papers,rnmentioned in the bibliography), it was studied the behavior as compared to the chosenrnreference:rn? The environmental temperature T0 = 20℃ and Tmax = 100℃;rn? The environmental temperature T0 = 40℃and Tmax = 100℃.rnFor the ferromagnetic environments used for the building of couplers the saturationrnphenomenon was also taken into consideration.rnFollowing the analysis, conclusions were drawn regarding the functional stability ofrncoaxial and frontal couplers – with Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets.
