摘要

The conservation of world energy is a hot topic in recent years.From the power distribution aspect,it is essential to add power factor correction functions in electronics devices to enhance and improve the power quality.Moreover, the need of PFC function has been expanded to many end systems which include not only PC,server power,NB adaptor,but also LED lighting…etc.A good understanding of various PFC control techniques is important in achieving the best performance results. This paper evaluates various PFC techniques for power supply designs under the 500W level.A comparison study on the Buck PFC,Boost PFC,Buck -Boost PFC working principles and analysis are provided in the paper.
