摘要

Optimization of each component in an electronic system is crucial for the reliability and life span of the entire system; Especially in the case of satellite power system where the reliability is a benchmark. This paper describes the detailed design and optimization of a FPGA controlled high frequency electronic power conditioner for high power space applications. According to this paper, the area which needs the optimization is found out initially and then the detailed optimization is carried out. It results in a novel design having 92% efficiency; which is 5% more than the conventional space grade designs. The experimental results and analytical waveforms are shown to validate the results.
