icare: Health Check-Up System

摘要

The icare: Health Check-Up System is an online application focus on the medical management of Eastern Visayas State University that will provide an organized health check-up system for EVSU Medical. Further the icare application provides an easier and faster way of managing data and easy-to-access patients’ medical record, accurate inventory, as well as the timely medical reports and data analytics that summarize the topmost disease and medicines needed in each department and courses. The Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Medical Clinic consumes a lot of time in searching and making a summary of all the ailments and medicines and even the inventory of medicines in the clinic. Throughout software development methodology of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the researcher use the prototyping model which a prototype is designed based on the client perspective, tested by the client itself and then reworked repeatedly as needed until an appropriate result is successfully achieved from which the full system or service can be developed. The survey questionnaires and interview were utilized as the main tools in the development of the application. As a result, a 100% rating was given to the icare application and currently implemented and running online in the university which improves and provides hassle-free services to the client and personnel of the clinic. The researchers implement and maintain the smoothness running of icare application that provide hassle-free services and satisfy the needs of the client of EVSU Medical Clinic.
