EKG Monitoring on the Mobile Phone Using Bluetooth Transmission

摘要

The improvement of data transmission techniques is considered a first rank priority in the medical domain, having as purpose the transfer of biomedical signals from one device to another, for a faster diagnosis. The aim of this paper is to present a transmission of a simulated EKG signal, from a PC to a mobile phone, in real time, using the Bluetooth technology. There are also presented the main benefits of Bluetooth transmission in the hospital environment.
