Prediction in Ungaged Basins (PUB) to Commence the New Culture of Uncertainty Conscious Hydrology

One of the most important missions of hydrological sciences is to provide the accurate hydrological predictions to society. It is increasingly important for better water resources management, sharing water, living with floods and conserving the ecological nature, especially under increasing population, intensifying land and water use and climatic variation. PUB (Prediction in Ungaged Basins) is a decadal IAHS (International Association of Hydrological Sciences) science initiative to put this mission forward
