In this article, a new method for knowledge reductions is introduced in inconsistent ordered information systems. The dominance matrix and decision assignment matrix are pro- posed in information systems based on dominance relations. Furthermore, the algorithm of assignment reduction is ob- tained, from which we can provide approach to knowledge reductions operated simply in inconsistent systems based on dominance relations. Finally, an example illustrates the va- lidity of this method, and shows the method is excellent to a complicated information system.
