摘要

How to manage the personnel in the interlock areas of the accelerator efficiently is the key problem in thepersonal safety interlock system. This article introduce the application of the access control technology in the personal safetyinterlock system for the accelerator with the example of the Construction of the Upgraded Beijing Electron-Positron Collider .Based on the operation mode of the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider , four interlock areas are divided. At the passagewayof each area , the access control was built which can control the personnel in and out. It greatly improve the reliability of theinterlock system that some function are used such as: Automatic Door, In and Out with card, Image Capturing, Interlock thenumber of personnel , Affirming the leaving, Interlock the personal dose ,etc.
