The Size Distribution of Aerosols in One Dry Gobi Area

Aerosols at six points in one dry Gobi area were collected using Series 210 cascade impactor. The particlenumbers of different size scales were counted, and the median count diameters were calculated. The results show that: 1) theparticle size curve of aerosol displays two peaks, one at about 0.4μm and another at 2μm, 2) the peak area in the frequencycurve is fluctuating with the sampling points and the weather condition, 3) most of the aerosol particle sizes are less than 1μm.
