This work develops a simple adaptive technique to improve the RF propagation prediction models of Okumura-Hata, Ibrahim-Parsons, Maciel-Bertoni-Xia and Walfisch-Bertoni. To analyze the adaptive models, a radio propagation measurement campaign was carried out, in the city of Belem, State of Para (Brazil). The measurement system consisted of a fixed laboratory transmitting a carrier at 900 MHz and a mobile laboratory to store the values of received signal strength. The results show that this flexible and computationally effective approach can he used for calibration of conventional prediction models utilized in this work.
