Computing noise properties of amplifiers from Continuous Wave (CW) sinusoidal signal measurements has posed a problem for many years and has been studied by many people. Most computational methods involve series expansions of the nonlinear transfer characteristics. These methods typically have convergence problems for power levels deep in compression. Other methods involve computer simulation, which is time consuming and offers little theoretical insight. In this paper a set of exact integral transforms that convert the CW transfer characteristics into band limited noise transfer characteristics will be presented.
