摘要

In this paper we present a novel technique in which the Maxwell equations, discretized by the Transmission Line Method in a three-dimensional domain, are coupled to the Schroedinger equation and simultaneously solved. The goal is to develop a method that accounts for deterministic electromagnetic field dynamics together with the quantum phenomena, which are typical of nanotube transistor devices. We first investigate the dynamic behaviour of an electron wavepacket injected in a nanotube between two metallic electrodes. The time-space evolution of the electromagnetic near field is also shown.
