摘要

A new ocean wave spectra observation method applied to intermittent back specula reflecting signal obtaining from a narrow radio beam spot on the water wave surface is proposed. The method uses a shipborne BBM CW mm wave Doppler radar with narrow beam. The wave spectra and velocity component are directly obtained from the received Doppler signal. Moreover the wave traveling direction and wave vector velocity are also obtained from multi-observation of azimuth directions. These are successfully evaluated on ocean wave data obtained by the radar.
