摘要

This paper deals with the design of single-input single-output control system for voltage control of a stand-alone self-excited induction generator (SEIG) employing inductively loaded current controlled solid-state lead-lag (ICSL) VAr compensator. The ICSL compensator has wide lead and lag VAr controlling capability, requires few inductive elements and is of low cost. The prime mover for SEIG is considered to be an unregulated hydro-turbine in micro-hydro energy conversion scheme. In the present study, the stress is laid on modelling and simulation of a closed loop control system. The response of the system for a stepped change in the load on the output voltage has been studied.
