Voltage stability is becoming increasingly important for the large scale power systems. Determining the critical values of voltage stability provide much practical use for the investigation of power transmission systems. This determination isn't simple for a large scale system because the system is nonlinear. Therefore several methods have been developed for handling this problem. Load flow techniques are some the more effective techniques. On the other hand, the necessity of repeating load flow calculations until the critical values are reached, is tedious. In this study a new method is developed to reduce repeating of load flow calculation. It is shown that, instead of repeating load flow calculation with sequential finite step increments, by using this method with the help of defined critical values at the end of each procedure, step sizes can be adjusted and reaching rate to the final result will increase.
