Path-diversity reception technique based on least square combining in digital mobile communications

In land mobile communications, it is an important subject to remove intersymbol interference and cochannel interference. Furukawa et al. (2001) propose that each path is separated using a multistage constant modulus array, and path diversity reception is performed. In this paper, we use least square combining instead of maximal ratio combining in order to improve bit error rate.
