Underground Distribution Progress Report Representing Northeast Underground Committee

The Northeast Underground Committee comprises 23 electric utility companies which meet informally twice a year to exchange views and experiences concerning non-network underground distribution systems. When necessary, the Committee develops guidelines and consensus opinions on practices, equipment; and materials. Significant changes during the past two and one half years by this Committee involve increased scrutiny of concentric neutral corrosion, maintenance practices, utility liability problems, and manufacturers' product quality.
