A Study on Fitts'' Law Based Gait Symmetric Evaluation and It''s Clinic Application

Symmetry, one of the prominent characters of normal human gait, could be destroyed by some special or abnormal factors such as barrier spanning, walking impediment, etc. Therefore, it becomes an important factor used to evaluate qualities and functions of walking. In this paper, the Fitts'' law based symmetry index calculation is introduced and its application in clinic test is also reported.
