Direct generation of 10 GHz 816 fs pulse train from an asynchronous modelocked Er-fiber laser

By employing the technique of asynchronous modelocking (ASM), we have successfully demonstrated the direct generation of stable 10 GHz 816 fs pulse trains with super-mode-suppression-ratio >70 dB from a hybrid modelocked Er-fiber laser.
