Experiences in Design, Engineering, Implementation and operation of DCS Based CI System for Trombay 500 MW Unit No. 6

摘要

The paper describes the experiences gained by Tata Electric Companies Bombay, India on the Distributed Digital control system (DCS) based C&I system for their 500 MW Unit at Trombay (Unit-6), over a period of four years through key phases of the project viz. (a) Design Conceptualisation (b) Detailed Engineering and System Implementation and (c) Unit synchronisation and first year of operation. The problems encountered at various phases of the project and their resolution have been highliqhted.
