Towards a descriptive theory of transaction cost economics: a fuzzy set approach

This paper provides a model for investigating the problem of ambiguity associated with decision-making. The model is based on fuzzy set theory which allows for various states of probabilities and set benefits. It also reduces the need for precise measures which are often difficult if not impossible to obtain.
