Practical considerations in applying economical dispatch models to combined cycle cogeneration plants

An economical dispatch model has been expanded to include combined cycle cogeneration plants, which comprise steam turbine generators. The extended model was simplified into a spread sheet exercise. Both models are examined against practical considerations in running combined cycle cogeneration plants.
