摘要

Acoustical oceanography and particularly acoustic tomography (measurement of the dynamic behaviour of the ocean) has needs for low frequency, high efficiency, broadband and great depth transducers. The double-ended longitudinal Janus-Helmholtz projector designed by DCN Ingenierie Sud for active sonar widely fulfils these requirements. This article describes the frequency and depth capability optimization of this transducer. Free-flooded projectors with a first resonance below 300 Hz have then been modelled, achieved and measured.
