Ultrasound radiation forces accelerate agglutination serologic determination

摘要

The agglutination of test particles like red blood cells is one of the methods used in serologic testing. It is shown how acoustical radiation forces can accelerate the immunologic binding of the particles by dragging them towards the pressure nodes of a standing wave field established in the reaction cell.
