Parallelization of a radiation transport simulation code on the BBN TC2000 parallel computer

摘要

The authors summarize the first stages of porting a radiation transport Monte Carlo code to a high-performance parallel computer, the BBN TC2000 computer. These stages include: the classification of variables according to their sharability and dependence attributes, and the modification of code through language extensions and Uniform System Library routines. Monte Carlo code was used in the design of a particle detector.
