The research and evaluation on the behavior engineering technology of the farrowing facilities

From the respect of the pig behavior study, it is believed that the sow and the sucking piglets bred in the same facilities not only connect with each other closely but also maintain individual behavior of their own. Through observation and comparison of the experiments on the experimental group and control group, it is verified that if the farrowing facilities are imporved to meet as well as possible the behavior characteristics of the sow and its sucking piglets, especially those of the piglets. they can benefit bettering the pig's living conditions, and enhancing enormously the living rate of the sucking piglets, improving their health and gowth. As a result the body length and weight in boxes of teh piglets are remarkably increased at their weaning time.
