The relation of water saving irrigation to the sediment disposal when channeling water from Yellow River

Good quality of the water sources is essential to water saving irrigation, especially the sprinkle irrigation and trickle irrigation. It is required that the irrigation water contains no or little sediment. According to the characteristics of the irrigation district, this article has introduced the methods and measures of sediement disposal for the water-saving irrigation based on the topographical and geographical conditions.
