Combined 1.06- and 1.32-um Nd:YAG laser in the treatment of rectosigmoideal tumors

Abstract: anuary 1988 we have been using the combined Nd:YAG laser Medicalas. The laser operates on the wavelength of 1.06 $mu@m with maximum output power of 100 W, and a wavelength of 1.32 $mu@m with maximum output power of 30 W. Introduction of the laser into clinical practice was preceded by experimental operation, where we verified the interaction of laser emittance on both wavelengths with the tissues of colon, stomach, esophagus, and open surgery of the abdominal and thoracic cavities. !5
