Nose/agio Shape Control of Slab during Heavy Plate Rolling

摘要

Through using FEM software, the heavy plate rolling processing is simulated torninvestigate the factors which could have great influence to the slab shape. The factorsrnare mainly including the level difference Hi, the rotation difference between the rollsrnSki, temperature difference between the upper and bottom surfaces of the slab ΔT.rnThese factors could have different effects on the slab shape (nose or agio). Thernsimulation results show that through adjusting the rotation speed difference betweenrnthe rolls Ski and controlling the temperature difference between the upper and bottomrnsurfaces of the slab ΔT, the slab shape could be adjusted more sufficiently than that ofrnadjusting the level difference H_i. The commercial experiment shows that throughrncontrolling the temperature difference between the upper and bottom surfaces of thernslab ΔT could be more effective and stability in slab flatness control.
