Bounding surface plasticity for cyclic loaded sand and its implementation

摘要

A constitutive stress-strain law for cyclic loaded sand and its implementation in a commercial finite element program is presented. The adopted bounding surface model with its four open wedge type surfaces incorporates a variety of features, such as kinematic and isotropic hardening, or small strain stiffness degradation. Emphasis is also put on the implementation in principal stress space and principal stress rotation.
