A light material with excellent EMI shielding, high heat conductivity and superior recyclability is greatly required for electronic components especially for portable products. Magnesium alloys, which have the smallest specific gravity among structural metallic materials, are being used widely for porfessional and non-professional video cameras. Consideration of increasing consumption of consumer electronic equipment and light automotive parts entails the urgent establishment of adequate recycling technology for thin walled die-cast components from the view of reduction of production cost and environmental preservation(2).
