摘要

The selecting of raw materials such as the fly ash and additive and optimization of mixture proportion are determined by tests based on designed index of the concrete in Three Gorges Project. The freezing-thawing resistance and durability are proved by experiments and practical investigated results in the dam. The fact that the excellent carbonation and crack resistance of the concrete in Three Gorges Project is demonstrated by a large number of test data. It is found that the total alkali content is under the control standard and the detrimental alkali aggregate reaction will not occur based on the test data and the analysis of the total alkali content in the most disadvantageous situation. The concrete is designed in a new method which is translated from traditional strength design into durability design. The effective additive and fly ash and moderate heat cement with micro-expansion are applied widely which enhance the capabilities of concrete essentially. So the long-term durability of the concrete in Three Gorges Project is ensured.
