We overview the design and implementation of Jinni (Java INference engine and Networked Interactor), a lightweight, multi-threaded, pure logic programming language, intended to be used as a flexibile scripting tool for gluing together knowledge processing components and Java objects in networked client/server applications, as well as through applets over the Web.
