The research on product information integrating and sharing for Dynamic Collaboration

Dynamic Collaboration emerges as the new trend of networking and collaborating work inrnmanufacturing industry, in which product information sharing among allied enterprises plays very important rolesrnin collaborating product development. In this paper, we first discuss the integrating, controlling and sharing modelrnof product information among the heterogeneous, dispersed environments and then propose the XML basedrnProduct Master Model (XPMM) as the data center for Dynamic Collaboration. The character, accessing approachrnand sub-model of XPMM is studied in detail. Based on XPMM, we put forward the Product InformationrnIntegration and Sharing (PIIS) Architecture.
