摘要

The friction characteristics of laser-textured mechanical seals with porous face are investigated.Compared with the conventional mechanical seals, temperature rise, friction torque and friction coefficient oflaser-textured mechanical seals with porous face are much lower. The results show substantial hydrodynamiceffects and better friction condition between two seal face.
