The Bohemian Massif is host to a variety of ore mineralisations related to the Variscan metallogenetic cycle. We present Re-Os data for several gold deposits and compare these results with other published age data. Our Re-Os molybdenite data for Mokrsko, Kasejovice-Belcice, and Petrackova hora fit a time interval of 349-339 Ma. This interval correlates with intrusion ages for the Central Bohemian Plutonic Complex. In addition to these largely economic mineralisations, a distinctly older (385-383 Ma) period of molybdenite mineralisation has been revealed at the Jilove. This older and gold barren mineralisation event may be attributed to an earlier metamorphic activity in the region.
