Cassiterite from Redziny and its relationship to the tin - bearing schist of Izera area (SW Poland)

Cassiterite has been found in marbles in Redziny, in the E metamorphic cover of the Variscan Karkonosze granite and its mineralogy characterized. Comparison of this tin occurrence with the cassiterite-bearing mica schists from Gierczyn reveal that both are of hydrothermal origin, but models of their formation slightly differed.
