IMPORTANCE OF CONDITIONING OF WASH WATER AT CENTRIFUGAL STATION

Centrifugal station is the most important station for production of quality sugar and needs more attention. No doubt speed of the machine, type of the machine, gravity factor of the machine, arrangement of wash water assembly, temperature and pressure of the wash water, leakages of pug mill gate and bottom hood leakages, timers of the centrifugal machines are plays key role in production of good quality sugar. Everyone takes utmost precaution to get better results from centrifugal machines but we realize the conditioning of wash water is also plays an equally important role in production of better quality sugar. During the season 2004-05 we have made some experiments and trials regarding centrifugal wash water conditioning. Our observations and results obtained are discussed in this article.
