摘要

A CO_2 chemisorption temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) method was used to estimate the number of active sites of the chars at several levels of carbon conversion. The experimental results and kinetic analyses gave the reasonable relationship between CO_2 gasification reactivity of the char and the number of active sites per unit mass of initial carbon in char during gasification. This approach can be developed into an alternative to others for the interpretation of the dynamic change in the gasification rate of char with carbon conversion. Further experiments with different kind of chars at several temperatures are underway.
