URBAN BUS TRANSPORT JOB SCHEDULER (CASE STUDY OF ISFAHAN CITY)

Nowadays public transportation is well-developed in spite of that sometimes it is not asefficient as expected. In some other cases they are so disorganized that offer unsatisfactoryservices.There are lots of works needed to be done in order to make public transportation servicesmore efficient such as making timetables, providing a job scheduler program or evenrenewing bus lines. In many cases they already seem to be efficient but it can be alwaysquestioned, truly how much are they? Can we make them more efficient? And thesequestions remain unanswered.In this paper a new kind of job-shop scheduler is introduced which is expected to be moreefficient than older ones. There are two resources in a bus line, drivers and buses and the goalis to optimize the number of buses in bus lines in particular time. In deed it?s the drivers whoneed to rest not the buses, so another driver who had enough rest, can continue driving thebus in the line which our system asks to. In this paper we demonstrate there is a relationbetween days and months of a year and the passengers of a bus line. So we can make adynamic program for busses which can to serve better and be more efficient.
