摘要

This paper proposed a DFG (Data Flow Graph) modeling method for the analysis of real time property of an embedded system application. Real-time is an important property for embedded system. As a computer system the embedded system has all characteristics of the computer. The discussion on the embedded configuration shows that the effective factors of the real time property for an embedded system include instruct executing speed depended on system clock, signal IO architecture, operation system, and real time requirement from application specification. The model could describe the time sequence and relationship among different part of the system. With the model the limitation for real time property of embedded application system can be defined.
