Star tracker is now the most precise attitude measurement instrument. And APS (active pixel sensor) star tracker is a good substitute for attitude sensors of small craft. However, Fill factor of APS pixel is not 100% because of its magnifier circuit and other function circuits inter pixel taking up some pixel area. The fill factor of pixel would effect on star image centroid subdivided locating precision when using centroid arithmetic. Based on simulation experiments, we obtain some results that these essentials influence on the star centroid precision, such as APS fill factor, geometrical shape of active pixel, position of optic nod of star image on focal plane, and so on.
