摘要

Multi-spectral low-resolution remotely sensed image contains abundant spectrum information, and aerial image contains abundant spatial information. In this paper, we firstly discuss the importance of image fusion, over look some traditional methods for image fusion, and then an new method to fuse the two types of image to obtain the image simultaneously suitable for human visual perception and the computer processing, which is based on ICD (independent-component-Decomposition), is provided. The experiment results show the new method is effective.
