Experimental Study on Behavior of Ship Moored by Anchor

In this paper authors investigated the behavior of ships moored bysingle anchor. Four kinds of ship models were used, which are pure carcarrier, very large crude oil carrier, container ship and general cargoship. From these ship model experiments authors show the safetydistance from the obstacles at the anchoring berth. Mooring force wasalso measured and compared with the calculated value.
