This paper describes an alternative methodology for theestimation of an upper-bound of the integrity risk at user level, in faulty condition, which is typically by far below the integrity risk bounds proposed up to now. The developed methodology allows, for given performance targets, relaxing either the required “Real Time Integrity Monitoring Accuracy“, or the satellite integrity failure probability or both.
