摘要

The sonic speed and coefficient of decay that ultrasonic in suspension not only be decided the character and content of itself but also be suffered to the influence of interaction. There are three main types for the sonic decay in suspension: absorbing decay, scattering decay and divergence decay. The fore two types decide the character of medium, but the other type is caused by the character of sound source. The main factors influent the accurate degree of measuring the sediment content by ultrasonic: degree of turbidity and size grading; impurity of gas vacuole in turbidity etc; temperature variation etc. Taking the ultrasonic decay method in measuring sediment content, and using the proportionality algorithm of echo area of ultrasonic and dual frequency measures the average size of sediment content which can improve the accurate efficiently.
